It was February and it was damn grey in Malmö.
Or no, it was actually white. The sky was white.
I usually liken it to a duvet that covers the whole city,
nothing gets through.
I went into the workshop to print a new pattern.
Looked ahead to spring and its vegetation.
Thought of chlorophylll and the taste of Piggelin.
Everything pointed towards shades of green.
The pattern ‘Svänga’ is about a slow shift, a slow change.
It is about daring to turn and change direction,
or to turn off and turn around.
The pattern was created by cutting out paper.
I pruned to shape, increase growth and branching,
to enable endless meetings.
